She went on to star as an athlete in ''Ethir Neechal'' directed by Durai Senthilkumar. She appeared in the romantic comedy ''Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara''. In 2014, her films ''Mundaasupatti'', ''Nalanum Nandhiniyum'' and ''Aindhaam Thalaimurai Sidha Vaidhiya Sigamani'' were released. Upcoming films of Swetha's include ''Idam Porul Yaeval'' directed by Seenu Ramasamy, ''Anjala'', and ''Uppu Karuvaadu'' directed by Radha Mohan.
